Dear Customer,


This letter is to update you about what Sardis Water Association (SWA) is doing as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.


Since we are considered an essential service, we will continue to do all that is necessary to provide you a safe and dependable water service. We are continuing to follow the guidelines of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Arkansas Department of Health and the Governor of Arkansas. We are also continuing to follow CDC guidelines to keep our staff and customers safe and healthy.  


WHAT WE ARE DOING – Our office is open for normal business M-F, 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. for drive-thru business only. The office lobby will continue to be closed to walk-in business until further notice.  You can conduct business by calling 501-602-5393 during normal office hours. You can call the same number for after-hours emergencies 24/7. An answering service will get your information and contact our on-call personnel and someone will call you back. Please be patient with us regarding our response time. You can also still pay your bill by mail or placing payment in the drop box at our drive-thru at our office. All forms of automated or online bill payment methods are still working and available to all. Online business can be conducted at www.sardiswater.net or by calling the number above during office hours.


We are not sure how long this method of operation will continue for using drive-thru only. We will continue to follow guidelines and requirements of the DHS, the Governor and the ADH. The Board of Directors will monitor the results of the COVID-19 vaccine and the guidelines of the above organizations in order to help them decide when to return to business as usual. We will inform you when we plan to open our office again to walk-in business by placing a notice on the bottom of the monthly water bill. We hope this is sooner than later. We are available to serve you when you need us and we apologize for any inconvenience you may experience during these difficult times. We thank you for your patience and understanding.


ANNUAL MEETING - Due to the increase in cases of the COVID-19 and the advice of legal counsel, the SWA Board of Directors made a decision to postpone the Annual Membership Meeting that was scheduled for March 15, 2021. This was a difficult decision, but it was the right thing to do to protect the health and wellbeing of our customers and all that would have been involved in this gathering. The SWA Board of Directors will continue to monitor this pandemic and the results of the vaccination results and will notify you if the Annual Meeting will be rescheduled during 2021.
